I've convinced some friends to download the world phone app on both iphone and android phones now that both versions are out.
I've noticed that their name lights up in Green on my contact list if they have the app (or in Blue with a Worldphone logo), however if they don't have the app open in the background on their phone it looks like I can't call them for free. Is this not a big flaw with the design?
I was hoping to call someone in Ireland to test the free app to app calling but even though they have the app installed I see that the price will be 16.0c per minute to call.
I tested this out with my partner and asked her to open or close the app and when it's not open in the background I don't get the free call option. This will prevent a lot of people using the app imo.
