Unlikely, as with most distros they have a web portal with all the pricing and it is what it is. Maybe really big customers get a better deal, but not most. Regardless, I dont get special pricing with Ingrams and they are cheaper and dont charge me freight.
The response from DDR was polite but clear, basically 'yes, we are more expensive sometimes, yes we charge for freight, but we are better (!) and we are totally Australian owned and operated."
They also fobbed me off with the ex GST pricing only, saying that most customers only want ex pricing. Not sure why they would ignore the customers that do want to see the inclusive pricing.
They also pointed out that charging for freight and higher pricing was better for me as a shareholder!
