Really doesn't make sense to commit capital to mine underground, unless we are talking very high grades in large structures. Galaxy is looking to double spodumene production at Mt. Cattlin, which at 110ktpa has a 17mine life. I think maximizing operational leverage, while the pricing environment is strong the next 3-5 years, is the right move. I am not so sure that the discovery of these deeper horizons are all that newsworthy.
