I have been around the court systems for a very long time and I can tell you that mistakes get made, and judges aren't always fair or logical about the decisions they make. Couple this with the juries they select, the prejudices that exist, the political trend at the time, and the incompetence of some, the decisions brought down at times can be downright unfair and illogical. I've seen people get less for rape, manslaughter, fraud, acts of terrorism etc than Rivkin got. Its time these public servants did a bit of hard work and concentrated their efforts on the big fish. What happened to the Pan Pharmaceuticals sell off prior to the markets knowing, etc and there are hundreds more examples of this!
