Fair enough DC. Good luck with it. No surprise that announcing manufactured website hits as real consumer interest, and then paying download farms to achieve downloads beyond where the management receives bonus scrip was going to end up badly for the faithful.
As an aside, I do regularly communicate with people with bad networks. As much as I loath Facebook, their latest Messenger code is very light on data - about 1/3 of that of Skype. So nowadays I use the Messenger app independent of Facebook, and I have been very satisfied with the stability and lack of delay in the connections.
