So basically the original app is toast and we're just using the concept. Have to write new code as in start over and back to square one.
I agree with previous posters in that we should put this data retention requirement on the back burner and concentrate on sending the original out into the world. Australia is a very small market and perhaps not worth the effort, at least for now. Once data intercept becomes generally required, as it might, then bring out the new version.
Personally, I'd have more respect for the company if they told Canberra to stick it where the sun doesn't shine and tell Australians exactly why they can't have this great product.
