A bit of discussion on the Council meetings recently,I can't remember which thread as there is a few recently so I've posted here for convenience.The council are aware of the approval from the EPA
The minutes of the meeting will not be available on the website until tomorrow and no later by law.Nothing of further interest within them.
The next step is for Nagambie Resources to apply for the Work Plan Variation mentioned in the announcement. I'm told they haven’t had direct contact that they are aware however may have happened at a higher level.
The planning permit when it’s applied for is then advertised and adjoining landowners are notified (minimum 60 days) If there are no objections it would go to Council for a decision.
If there are objections then they would have to do an investigation into the objections and the objectors and Nagambie Resources could mediate to resolve any issues, if not it could go to VCAT,How long is a piece of string if that happens however I'd say the issues have already been resolved or at least minimised in the EMP approved.
A couple of enquiries from landowners interested in what is going on.
The 60 days is from when they apply, so it also depends when Nagambie apply’s for the permit.
