"material news and would have to be reported"
I not sure that they would have to report that information as they can delay (again speculating) reporting the net to gross etc as they are still analysing the core data and correlating it to the petrophysics.
And we know that the result didn't appraise the eastern extent of the oil field as they saw no thinning in the gross oil column.
The field is still open to the N, S and E!
