Hell -just another myth?

This is the second of a series I hope to do in the following weeks
in an attempt to correct some of the false teachings/beliefs of
mainstream Christianity.
I had intended to put together my own essay on Hell to follow
on from the one I did on "Where are the Dead" that I posted a few
weeks ago but I haven't had the time to give it the attention it deserves.
Instead I found one which I downloaded about 8 years ago
which is better and more detailed than anything I could put
together .
I've also included an article dealing with the same subject
but from a different slant titled "Exposing the Greatest Lie
Ever Told"
There's plenty of good info on the Net dealing with this subject
but these are excellent I believe..No doubt some will still want to cling
to their beliefs, but that's their problem. This settles the argument
for any rational person IMO.
There's just a couple of points I'd like to make.
First, God is not a sadist, and only a sadist would torture someone
forever and ever and ever and....
Secondly, it's totally wrong of translators to put one word 'Hell'
in place of 4 Hebrew and Greek words that mean something completely
different.
And thirdly, why would God need a Hell when there is the "Lake of Fire"?
In the near future I hope supply essays on the so called 'Rapture', the Immortal Soul',
what the 'Gospel' really is, the 'Alpha Course', Tithing-is it compulsory now?, the Sabbath
and Holy Days, whether the Holy Spirit is really a person and of course who could resist exposing
all those 'Money Preachers' that infect our airwaves?
The main trouble today is that too many Christians can't be bothered checking
the Bible for themselves and would rather blindly believe everything that some
man tells them. There are many warnings about such sloppiness. They are exposing
themselves to even more deception in the future.
Just for the record, I have no connection to Tentmaker who supplied these articles

People have been so sucked in by the myths of variations to the themes of eternal punishment / death that they fail to grasp the foundational message in their bible that, although there are consequences of sin, all are destined to be saved.

Of course there will be a great deal of huffing and puffing about this message because the alternative ( eternal punishment / death) is the source of too much power, control, wealth etc to preach the truth.

Then there are always those who say: where is the insensitive not to sin if there is no eternal punishment for not sinning and/ or holding prescribed beliefs. You have to feel sorry for people who are driven only by having s sword of this magnitude hanging over their heads.

Of course those who preach fear through eternal punishment/ death forget that they may have to answer for preaching such falsehoods.
