There is a huge gap in belief systems between the bulk of people in the suburbs of Europe, the USA, Canada, and Australia and those who have a loud voice in running the system. Islamic migration is a stark example.

The Brexit vote showed the people who their real foe is. The old trick of distracting people with last centuries blue/red fault line is being exposed. Jeremy Corbyn and Goldman Sachs were defeated by the real people, I doubt they would enable us again.

The voices of the elites won't want referendums on homosexual marriage or anything else.

the margin of votes for Exit over Remain is only 1.2 millions. If voting had been compulsory, the outcome might have been different. The voter turnout in the London and surrounding areas which are strongly pro-Remain was low.
