Uber has 650000 drivers registered worldwide to date.

I would hope that CL8 can manage to convert 5000 registered vehicles, which then would related to your 500-1000 being used daily.

The issue I see is the insurance factor and cleaning factor.. I am reluctant like most others to give out my car simply because I don't know what state it would be returned in and what I am liable for if something goes wrong.

If they can clear that hurdle, I'd gladly rent out my car 1-2 weeks a month. It would pay my insurance costs and fuel, and I live downtown in a big city, I only use it rarely anyway.

I have this on my watchlist now to see how they progress.
