obviously all of this has been mentioned before - but it is easy to understand why the plebs might be a bit sick of brussells. from memory, brussels central has decided how many refugees (or are the called immigrants???), each country should take - and if they refuse, then there is a $200,000 fine for each person, which the country does not take.
england tries to deport hate preachers - then the hate preachers appeal to brussels central - and brussels central tell england, that deportation would not be pleasant for the scum - so better keep the hate preacher, his harem etc etc, on welfare, and let him continue preaching hate.
it is understandable that the plebs might have become a tad upset about these matters.
as far as the younger people being overwhelmingly in favour of REMAIN - this may or may not be true - but a large % could not be bothered to vote. for what it is worth, but maybe young people should not even be allowed to vote, because it is a fact, that the brain does not fully mature, till the 30's (or whenever. no wonder krudd floated the idea of 16 year old being given the vote - because they will mostly be labor voters.
wisdom comes with age - and the more mature plebs (especially the traditional labor voters) understood very well, that they have been shafted by their leaders
