BB did not go wrong. He tested a sound theory but it did not eventuate. The theory that was exciting was that high grade gold was associated with sulphides (pyrite, pyrrhotite) as the high grade discovery hole contained sulphide compounds that could be tracked with IP. The IP and first lot of drilling hit the sulphides as predicted but the associated gold proved uneconomic. That was the big blow. Other adjustments were made to improvise but no economic gold has been proven thus far. They gave it a good go. No one to blame. Just another day for a junior mining explorer. This is the spec end of the market.
