From the original list of 43 leads in the WPL takeover defence document of some years ago, lead 5 is 36mbbl and had a POS of 12% (average for all leads).
Seems to me that they are still "exploring" the different play types. Tevet is a "sand fairway" play I think between Chinguetti and Banda, and lead 5 at 36 mbbl is is unlikely to be a salt dome. They could be trying to establish the parameters of the overall likely oil accumulation - the salt domes can be drilled later once production is underway. I don't know if this makes the 2 wells to be drilled this year more or less risky.
