EDE does not have to have a network of concrete batch plants...the reason why EDE have been conducting all these field trials is to have concrete results that would convince design engineers to specify the use of EDE in concrete on construction projects...if EDE is specified to be used with concrete on a project...the contractor or builder then orders the concrete from a batchplant...the batchplant operator (sometimes free issued by contractor or builder to ready mix concrete supplier) then orders EDE and add to the concrete during mixing in the batchplant...i believe EDE has already developed a mixing procedure....
The "engineers" of Georgia USA are convinced with the benefits of the EDE product...to the extent that the Georgia government has tipped in some money to EDE to help them produce the product in bulk so that they could use it on more projects....
I am a civil engineer...and i think that the product that EDE is about to revolutionalize the concrete world...the product improves the flexural strength of concrete...this means that design engineers can make huge savings on their structural designs if they specify the use EDE...concrete is the most widely used construction material...as per previous announcement by EDE there is already a significant interest on this product by one of the world's largest cement and concrete manufacturers....so i don't get the doubt some people have on EDE..
