The recent staff shindig at The Pines, was IMO a means of spending the allocated Long Day Care Professional Development Programme (LDCPDP) funding. If I am correct,this is further confirmation of management failing to understand the professional development requirements of individual centres. The lack of awareness of required staff development, in any centre and addressing those needs, is usually, the main reason for low occupancy levels.
Marketing doesn't keep centre enrolments high, communicating and connecting with families takes care of that.
