Dopey labor voters, 30%, voted for Christian Kunde, Farrer electorate, who had been withdrawn from the ballot beforehand.
"Campaign Update
Christian Kunde was disendorsed by the Labor Party in the second last week of the campaign, ten days after the close of nominations and too late to have his endorsement removed from the ballot paper.
Kunde's endorsement was withdrawn when it was revealed he was friends with Uthman Badar, the spokesman for Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir, and there were also claims he likened homosexuality to incest during a lecture at Sydney University.
Kunde responded that he had no links to the group, and also that he supported same-sex marriage, but in the circum stances had no other option than to withdraw as Labor candidate."
I don't know why the AEC staff had not crossed off Kunde's name from the ballot paper, even with a pencil, before handing out the papers.
