The compnay just wanted a decision... in or out. Getting this decision is the best thing.
APP have so much turnover at the top within the company that this is a blessing.
Getting another deal will no be a problem.. i think you are underestimating the risk cycle of the product:- generic, success in trials showing that in time it will dominate, chemical equivalence for approval only... patents dissappearing and other oncology discoveries in the pipeline.....
I am delighted with the outcome. ACL can now progress!
Anyway just my humble Biased opinion.
