Perhaps the NSW Government will end up selling the MEL tenements to some O&G major for a fortune too.
After all I have watched a show last night where the NT Government has bought some huge stations in NT in order to protect the reef from contaminated waters from rivers entering the reef only to come out now that the mining Department is allowing some mining company to do some alluvial mining in the river which will only bring some more of those damaging sediments into the reef.

Yes, this is Governments for you. Only think about one thing...........THEMSELVES, AND THEIR POLITICAL CAREERS.

I hope that Anthony Roberts will get a boot in the ar..se at the next election when taxpayers are realising that it is all his fault of the current gas prices and the hardship they are been forced into.
