Goldstar Resources (ASX:GDR) has further results from the surface diamond
drilling at Eureka Dyke Bulge, Walhalla gold project, Victoria.
Results from one hole confirmed a 16 per cent expansion in the
down-dip extent of the reef system to a vertical depth of 350m.
It returned an intersection of 0.35m grading 5,604 grams per
tonne gold from depth of 280m, within an overall quartz reef intercept of
1.55m.
Assays for the remainder of the intercept are to come.
The intercept, while not representative of the average grade of
the quartz reefs, highlights the high grade, nuggetty style of
mineralisation.
Underground activities will shortly commence as part of the
Eureka bulk sampling program.
