Gordon, it is you who have your facts wrong.
Panasonic are the ones producing ALL Tesla cells although there are rumours they may have sourced some for Powerwall from LG Chem or Samsung.

Tesla convert ZERO spodumene.
Panasonic will run any kind of cell line inside Tesla's hohafactory.
They may produce cells one day because that is a straight manufacturing process.
I doubt they will ever convert their own spodumene.
I doubt they will ever actually make their own cells either although more chance of that.

Joe Lowry started this nonsense about how will Tesla get enough lithium and why are they not worried. Although I like his posts he shows a distinct lack of understanding of what Tesla are, as you do.
They are a manufacturer that is becoming very adept at robotics. I doubt they have any wish to become a chemical company and even more to the point, actually compete with the Chinese.

To break your nonsense down further. There is every chance that a conversion facility may end up at Port Hedland because it would make economic sense. In that case any battery cell manufacturer could be supplied using PLS concentrate. If you had read the announcement you would be able to see that. Located OUTSIDE China. The last I looked the Chinese do not build outside China unless there is some kind of material advantage. The ONLY material advantage could come from a plant at Port Hedland unless you think Iceland would be a good idea.

Finally, if you think your little wins are going to impress me your very wrong. I bought at 3.u and I a very small amount slightly higher which I forget. So before you get too clever you might want to work out those percentages against your own not so clever crumbs.

You can make your 10 or 20% and pay your extra large tax bill and I will still be sitting here. Bottom feeders can look clever for a few days, weeks or months but rarely long term on an excellent resource.

I'm all for open discussion and that includes negative discussion. It makes people who research think harder. Your game is a different one.

And a footnote for those that read there were two possibilities for the off-take. That is also totally wrong. There are about 10 and we got one of the biggest. In fact no-one knows or can claim to know how many they are because things are re-positioning and consolidating so fast.
