Sorry more questions this time on pyramiding. @Freehold don't like to keep asking for weekend topics, although I have got a lot out of the recent ones I asked for I must say, but if no one else has anything this could maybe be another one? Did an analysis of the stocks I'm currently holding last night and have noticed that the stocks I pyramided into are the ones that are mostly down at the moment. The initial (pilot) entries are doing well (some very well) and I pyramided on a break of resistance or bounce off a fib retracement after the pilot was at least into 25% profit but the pyramids have brought me down (on paper at least at the moment). Most I have only held initial entry for about 2-3mths and pyramids 1-1.5mths so I am still holding patiently and have no intention of selling any time soon and maybe the being in the red at the moment is just a fact that I haven't yet held long enough. Just wondering what criteria people use though to decide when to pyramid and how much to buy as the pyramid? Target $ or % or breaks of resistance or retraces, etc... or is it better not to pyramid at all? Do you even pyramid for ST holds or just MT/LT holds?

@Freehold with the sniper entry system speciifally (which I like a lot and am trying to use with my TA skills..unfortunately TA seems to get you into the stock abit later than with FA so I'm trying to adapt it to suit my TA skills) when do you 1st pyramid? I have read about the sniper entry system on the ST knowledge base and it appears that you buy a pilot, then sell part of the pilot in a spike before making your 1st pyramid ..is this correct as I thought the pilot was only a small initial entry and therefore you would need to pyramid before selling the 1st parcel?

    All more learning thanks.
