Partly through inexperience with the new induction cooktop, partly because they don't seem to like the temperature needed to seer a steak, my expensive pans have been short life.
I am now using a liner in it and it works well again. It is a Beefy Boy BBQ liner, costs about $5 at Overflow or Reject shop or some such.
