Let me further explain and yes, it is "dotjoinery" but that's the fun part of speculation.
1. At a BrainChip AGM last year, management said they're working with about 15 - 20 companies. One of the company's mentioned was an "An oil and gas company in OZ."
2. BrainChip then has hired folk(s?) related to the oil and gas field. Meaning, they might have some meaningful dialogue with an oil and gas company. This is only one intern yes, yet there might be others. Still, why bother hiring Petroleum engineer if negotiations with an oil and gas company was fluff?
So contrary to your point, this has some meaning. There was a reason/meaning behind hiring a Petroleum engineer at a tech company.
