getting them 'taken out' does NOT give the company any spending money....only stops the selling by that shareholder.
Management are not all that concerned about SP. they are concerned about getting the project up and running.
That said, a higher SP does show confidence....and I don't see that from CG.....as at $1 per share that is a huge return.
Sounds negative , I know...but that would be my outlook ....seeing as I don't know just what prompted their selling spree. Perhaps they think that the world is going to have a stock market crash...and they want dividend stocks...not speculative. Anyway, doesn't make sense to me....
