re: strong and stronger- roadshow starting? Domum,

FQ have their own copper mines in Zambia and Congo which are a hell of a lot bigger than Dikilushi. AVL to them is a minnow, they are happy to let it do it's own thing. The deals FQ are doing are in the 100's of millions not the single figure millions AVL are dealing with. FQ are currently working on the Kansanshi deposit which has a construction price tag of $163 million. They have recently signed a joint venture with BHP and I quote from Mineweb... 'Philip Pascall does add, though, that it is common knowledge that BHP would only be interested in “pretty huge” projects.'

FQ don't need to use AVL, nor have they any real interest in buying out AVL at this stage. They are far too busy with their own mines.

They are happy to leave AVL alone largely because of the relationships that Bill has formed in dealing with the congolenese. AVL has been able to go further and move faster than they have. They are unlikely to change anything that might jeapordise the continuing good relations that AVL has. They however, I'm sure are leveraging off the goodwill and contacts Bill has accumulated.
