LOM has been drilling for kimberlite at Lulo since 27/06. Let's hope they turn up a diamond or two, hinting that it is the source of the large diamonds they have been finding.
Funny how things change: in 1986 I was talking at the Research School of the Ecole des Mines de Paris a Fontainebleau (sorry) with a Diamond expert from SA and he reckoned that there may only be one or two Kimberlite pipes of any consequence yet to be found worldwide.
