Thanks Stefanov. Ya it's hard to get past oft repeated opinions and find facts.

As I referenced earlier the greater issue holding me back is not who owns the IP, but whether any alternate claims will result in costly defense, taking money out of the proppants kitty.

A statement of all clear with by from an actual patent lawyer would remove doubt (which LWP would have in their possession if they have consulted a patent lawyer) rather than a reference from LWP that have spoken to an unidentified one.

It is the absence of information that makes many people uneasy with these announcements. I am not downramping, keeping my eye on reasons to re-enter or stay out, as I have always a proponant of the proppant tech.
