    you do realize consolidation in cash terms of your portfolio will not change it only changes how many shares if its 10.1 and share price is 1.5 its 15 cent your cash will not change . if you have 100 grand in you still will own 100g worth of shares .

    so its in the company interest to get share price up for market cap

    that's the short version there is more too it
