The form of Islam you describe is not representative of modern Islam and certainly not representative of what is practised in Australia. I don't want to see a violent, medieval misogynistic religion being practised in Australia either but there is no basis for expecting that to occur in any likelihood.
I have an interest in my well-being, which is not made more unsafe by Muslims but by the presence of extremists. I also have an interest the well being of fellow Australians, including minorities in our society, when they are vilified for doing nothing wrong.
Would suggest people who still think Muslims are some kind of threat to use google to find some answers for themselves. No ponit carrying on if there is disagreement on facts. Have a good night all.
