I am not so hopeful regarding application to other organs. If anything, lung (as you suggest) might be a consideration as it is the only other organ with dual blood supply (i.e. pulmonary artery and bronchial arteries) analogous to the liver. Other organs are end vessel supply and there is a risk of infarction which you don't see in the liver. In any case, there is very effective external beam radiotherapy for lung, renal, pancreatic cancer etc. I know they have done a pilot study in renal Ca, but it don't personally see it making it into clinical practice. Just my opinion.
