If the Government had any balls at all it would stop the two biggest tax frauds in Australia. Negative gearing on rental houses to permit anyone, rich or poor to become a tax dogder, and apply a capital gains tax on house resales. I hear your screams. These are accepyable because most people are doing it.

So lets just hit up a few superannuation holders. We can easily walk over them but maybe not.

Super was never intended as a tax minimisation wealth accumulation scheme, the changes are well overdue and the only people who are bitching are those that have been using it as a tax minimisation wealth accumulation scheme
