Reporting season, jittery retailer sells into the new salary/CG year (being harvested now), bit of insto strategic clean-slating, everyone toe-ing the dirt, waiting for the dust to settle...it's just always a bit meh. Brexit, Trump, our tight election...yeah, has all added to this year's funk. Whither Coalition fiscal policy, whither corporate tax cuts...everyone's holding back more than usual, the sooks, waiting for the world to end. Have a look at the cash and bond markets - nutsoid. Great oceans of loot sluicing lazily about the world with overpaid armies of private school ballsacks dribbling and slack-jawed at the helm, all of them wetting their reggies and actually paying the grown-ups to look after their stash for a bit. Frankly, the state of the global money marketplace right now is downright embarrassing. Some of these big swingers need to decide whether they're capitalists or not. There's oodles of sticky to be made out there - provided you have a spine.

It's just July and this one is a particularly Julyish July. Everyone with brains has f**ked off to the slopes. I'm only still here, cranky and bored and stuck in the sauna on my own, because the house triplets Svetlana, Tatiana & Anyiana wanted to celebrate their nineteenth birthday with some 'quality girl time' in the chalet, no boys allowed. Just those three, the rest of the sauna gang, the cast of Lip Service and the Lithuanian female gymnastics squad on a pre-Rio bonding exercise.

Obviously being cold-shouldered from that little jaunt is helping make my least fave investing month even more so than usual...

But...t'will pass, @Kaeho, t'will pass. For t'is merely July, meaning: Spring ain't too far away...
