I have not problem with these people and their calls for interfaith dialogue, secular education , the alignment of science and religion and a peaceful world. Gulen also appears to be influened by the Sufi teachings.

It does not surprise me that Erdogan along with the extreme ends of the Wahhabi and Salafi cults want to see Gulen and his followers exterminated. The rub is that the Gulen movement is also a pan-Islamic movement. As posted, the cross hairs need to be aligned to the Wahhabi cult and the extreme end of Salafism rather than at Muslims in general.

PS: Gulen's living quarters (note the Quran on the left hand glass shelf) are a stark contrast to Erdogan's thousand room palace.

Does the Gulen Movement make any mention of editing out the nasty bits from the Quran?
How about the Hadith literature?

I wouldn't trust any of them to keep their reforms on the rails until I see some action on this.
