    I think it's quite reasonable to question the merits of immigration as a whole in its own right.

    Singling out a group for race or religion is discriminatory in the wrong way and is not reasonable.

    If the person arriving is educated and skilled it makes no difference to me personally which country they are from or what their religion (if any at all) is if they are going to benefit our country.

    Irrational fear and hatred on the other hand is just un-Australian in my eyes. That's what I am seeing and reading here. It's not rational and it's not intelligent.
