Hi KKW,
leaving it to the last minute I suppose depends on whether they say "We are pre-empting" or "we are pre-empting because we have received a superior offer from XYZ" i.e. whether it can leave them open to receiving a superior bid from someone else!
Also, doesn't it have the ring of material news? I would hope there would be a trading halt and an announcement following stating they have received an offer worth $. But what do I know? ASX rules and regulations have me puzzled at times.
