Im personally against both ....sentiment & position ..... they serve no purpose but to assign one to a team .... and that instantly creates distrust in a post from a member of what has become, the opposition, by virtue of the use of them.
get rid of them I say and let the content of a post stand on its own merits ...... (or lack of)
