Davy Boy did ask this during the week and I cannot remember if there was a reply.

But if WPL had paid up to their $1b for this asset.....double the amount making the
the oil then worth $4.40 pb.

Where would this discussion be at?

Would everybody of been happy that COP sold for twice the amount, which definetly would
of put us out of reach on the pre emptive rights.

I just wonder if the new partner would of been more accepted......lets face it, the angst should not be
at WPL, but at COP for selling to low. Hardly WPL are going to say, that's very cheap.....can we pay twice
as much because we feel it worth at least that.

So at the end of the day, we all take up our pre emptive rights. Then what happens, WPL counter bid
......we both cannot.....I am unsure to what happens next......we force WPL to pay more, they pay more
until finally they are the new partner and there has been no more counter offers, WPL are peeved
as nothing has changed, but they are out of pocket $100`s more millions, everyone still has the same %
and we carry on as normal but with an unhappy partner than a could of been happy partner.

Just need a little help on this as I am unsure t how it all works.
    thanks in advance
