The new RTO rules are there to prevent this from happening in the future, this is hopefully the last time.

But remember the SP is not in the control of Odin nor gridComm. Its not really their fault if this stock got hyped and pumped on Hot Copper. Should the deal really collapse, ruining the fortunes of this new startup, just because some people paid more for these shares than they were worth? The deal created value for holders, there is no doubt. Prior to the MOU these were only worth $0.001, they are now worth at least $0.005. Its in the hands of the trader what they want to pay for a stock, the company has no responsibility to make it worth what someone pays, only to act in shareholders interests. It is also in SH's interest that this deal proceeds, without the deal ODN will zero out. 0.005 or more is far far better than 0.000 is.

Really there are posters on HC who are more responsible for the losses people are making than the Odin management are. They are the ones who were selling to today's holders while simultaneously claiming this was a multi-bagger on these threads based on spurious claims and deliberate ignorance of some important facts: including that RTOs aren't worth much more than a few million. Co-operatively ignoring and drowning out those that were raising important issues that brought the trading value of ODN into doubt. Some will even still be highly regarded on HC.

There is still the question of why Odin management should have concealed the consolidation ratio until today, however.

The new rules will suspend trading until the full details are released. This is a very good improvement. In the meantime it reminds us not to invest in schemes where the full details are hidden. Especially a detail as vital as the consolidation ratio.
