Hi Wsdk_11
Agree with everything you say buddy, how ever The SIG are going to make sure nothing can be challenged
in the future by any body, as this was an International Based Tender , the expert advise from Urban Affairs and Planning Australia was to ensure at all costs their would be no recourse , Boundry's etc , Land owners ,
and other Government departments are all checked and crossed checked.
One thing is certain Axiom will be Mining Isabel and no other party have any rites to Mine Isabel .
Whilst i do not want to get into the Political argument with who we sell our ore to , I would hope it is not going to be China ....we have a relationship with Gunvor if they wish to sell it to China good for them,
remember we are aligned with the Philippines and if a conflict should arise between China and The Philippines it may be costly to do business directly with China ..they have no Loyalty to any one ,
and im sure if we broke ranks with the USA and Philippines ,New Caledonia it could back fire badly for us.
so far the Minister has 100% backing in the Philippines to close down any Mine not complying with International Environmental Standards set at the G20 in Australia 2 years ago .
it may be coincidental that 3 are owned by China and 1 by Japan another 4 will close in the next few weeks
all foreign owned, the Philippines supplies 51% of all its Nickel to China.
The New Minister has Vowed to inspect all 40 operating Mines over the Next few weeks and has already stated she would be very surprised if any complied.
So this may be the tip of the ice berg /but it should not and i hope will not be a ticket for Axiom to do any Business with China,
cheers
