Having said that, a sawmill worker in Ricky Muir ended up making a damn fine pollie, but only because he was a thoughtful guy who sat down with an open mind and worked extremely hard to get across all the issues.
Then again, those are the polar opposite characteristics of the imbecilic Hanson, so of course the Right fawn over Hanson but didn't much like Muir.
