Is it fair to assume you're shorting PLS again?
It is not a "first rights" clause - it is a First Right of Refusal that has a clear specified timeframe for GAM to elect to match the exisiting deal. Worst case scenario the 45 day clock has to be reset to allow MIN to assess whether they'd like to take on the deal. PLS has done exactly what it was required to do in notifying GAM. GAM have not finalised any deal with MIN (as it has not been announced to the market) so I'm not sure how MIN can lay any claim to the First Right of Refusal. Either way, PLS can just write another contract with General Lithium
