I think that we might find MIN will request a period of due diligence beyond 45 days, as someone else pointed out the agreement with General Lithium was being worked on for some time.
They simply cannot provide a counter offer without examining what they can offer themselves.
They simply cant provide a counter offer without their Wodgina deal being finalised....nothing has been announced to the market that the deal is yet complete and they should have followed up with an announcement yesterday with regard to proceedings they plan to initial regarding to ROFR on PLS spodumene which was a condition attached to the purchase of their newly acquired ( not yet aquired ) asset of Wodgina mine....
