Ann: TNG to demerge and IPO base metal assets-TNG.AX, page-71

I have never been an owner of a stock which is proposing a spin off.

What can we expect? Is there generally a time frame for which you would have to hold the shares or (as it states in the announcement) are the requirements to receive distributed shares that one must be a shareholder at a set date? What would be some factors to determine the opening price for TRR?

I personally think it is a great idea to separate TNG and TRR to focus on their strengths and further allow TNG to focus on MT PEAKE. Would be good to have a separate entity to take care of establishing/sourcing high quality projects while TNG powers ahead in the important stuff.
