Good post and well written.
There will be some selling if MSB to be removed from the S&P ASX 200. However, this S&P ASX 200 is a "delayed" index since it include/exclude the companies simpply depending on their M.C. S&P's views are not the "bible" since it was terribly wrong before the GFC when it put Lehman Brothers on AAA for its long term credit rating.
Giving the current s.p. of MSB, downside is less risky than the upside. You may lost 100% if MSB's s.p. down to zero, but you may get 100% gain if its s.p. back to $2,30 as on three months ago. I.m.o., giving to its leading position in the world on its fields, the worst scenario would be taken over by other party, giving its MC is now only A$442M (USD$300M).
