CNE saying that they are happy with 40% is totally different from CNE saying that "we are happy with WPL walking in and getting a bargin".
Do you think that CNE are to dim to think, "we can do a deal here with a third party" and clip the ticket. Duh!
Nobody serious here ever said that FAR could go it alone, write a cheque, fund a 5bn project and be operator. Why do you constantly promote this as the only alternative option? Duh!
Most of us here hope CNE and or FAR can do a deal with a third party or WPL to enhance FAR's position. If that means WPL is out so be it or if WPL is part of the deal great.
Why would you not want that or see that as desirable. Duh!

"End case is that the status quo remains except WPL replace COP."

Tell me why you constantly promote the status quo, (that is WPL walks in unchallanged) and see it as the only option and a positive for FAR

What possible agenda do you have for constantly advocating that WPL be unopposed and not wanting FAR to take advantage and improve their position?

Yes we can argue whether or not there is an arbitrage situation.
Whether or not it is possible for FAR and or CNE to do a deal to enhance their respective positions?

But this isn't what you constantly advocate!!
    Tends to make people sceptical.
Tell me what that is all about?
