I didn't rebut what you said at all if you care to read my post, I'm actually agreeing with you and giving my opinion that there will be other competitive contenders for this space in the market. VRB can't claim ownership of it and AES can say whatever they like, thats their job to advance their cause and sell their product.
Elon Musk is subsidised by the US Govt to the tune of $5 billion and more every day for advancing LiIon tech in the USA, it's going to exist wether we like it or not so we best get used to it. It doesn't mean its any better and if you DYOR you may find that there a a very strong opinion for a swathe of reasons that VRB will prove to be a superior solution, hence why I own shares in AVL.
You however are quite entitled to believe whatever you like as we all are, and invest accordingly.
