Looking at the history between Tesla staff and our new friends - I actually think it is Tesla they are looking at. The more you read up on those NA companies the more incestuous the whole thing is. The emphasis on production trail, quality and environmental is irrefutably North American at source.
Exciting if it is. Just a hunch on my part - following the trail.
