We had a poster here on HC not long back, Muslim, with an Indonesian wife and Indonesian Muslim in-laws.......
He told us that in Indonesia, the Q'ran is learned off by heart in Arabic, which most Indonesians dont speak or understand. Was a very nice and sensible guy, and possibly an Aussie who had to convert to be able to marry his wife.
So here we have 200 odd million Muslims who know the Q'ran off by heart, but dont understand it in Arabic, so they have to ask their imam what "that" might mean.......
So here we have " Hey, Bro, what that say?"
Imam: " You gotta blow yourself up, son, and take infidels with you."
They only know about Islam what the imam tells them......they dont know better.
How much of that situation exists globally. Scary.
But then I remember Catholic priests preaching hellfire and damnation nearly 70 years back.....
A lot of that was b/s also, eh?
