Apparently North American investors are seeing parallels with the Roxgold deposit, the last results are supportive of this. With mining license, DFS and resource updates due this and next quarter the chance of this running up to the Clarus 65 cent price target is very good. Roxgold have a 500m market cap, share price of $1.50.
The Clarus cover note puts forward some good scenarios that may well play out, ie consolidation of the plant for the 3 or 4 projects in a 35 km radius, highlighting also that WAF is trading at a steep discount to peers in West Africa who are unlikely to achieve their license while WAF is likely to receive it by the end of the year.
